House of Representatives Organizes Conference of Chairpersons of Foreign Affairs Committees in African Parliaments on “African Parliamentary Cooperation in Light of Present Challenges”

<p style="text-align: justify;">As part of parliamentary diplomacy and the keenness of the Kingdom of Morocco, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him, to consolidate cooperation and solidarity in Africa, the House of Representatives organizes on July 6-7, 2023, at the seat of the House, a Conference of the Chairpersons of Foreign Affairs Committees in African Parliaments. The Conference will cover the theme: “Parliamentary Cooperation in Light of the Present Challenges.”&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Conference will feature the participation of the Chairpersons of the Foreign Affairs Committees in African Parliaments, parliamentarians, experts, and researchers. The participants will cover three main themes: "Parliamentary contribution to the consolidation of peace and security in Africa," "Food security challenges in Africa," and "the Role of Foreign Affairs Committees in promoting joint African cooperation."&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Conference will culminate in the “Rabat Declaration.”</p>
