Speaker of the House of Representatives Represents His Majesty the King in Investiture Ceremony of New President of the Republic of Argentina

<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami, represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI on Sunday, December 10, 2023, in Buenos Aires, in the investiture ceremony of the new President of the Republic of Argentina, H.E. Javier Milei.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The ceremony took place at the Seat of the National Congress in the presence of King Felipe VI of Spain and the Ukrainian President, H.E. Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The ceremony also featured the attendance of the presidents of several countries in the region, including the Chilean President, H.E. Gabriel Boric; the Uruguayan President, H.E. Luis Lacalle Pou; the former Brazilian President, H.E. Jair Bolsonaro; as well as delegations representing several world countries.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In his statement, Hon. Rachid Talbi El Alami noted that the ceremony was an opportunity to extend the regards and congratulations of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to H.E. Javier Milei upon his election as the new President of Argentina. In the same respect, he underscored the willingness of the Kingdom of Morocco to advance the already excellent ties linking Rabat and Buenos Aires in all areas.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It should be noted that His Majesty King Mohammed VI had addressed a message of congratulations to H.E. Javier Milei. In his message, His Majesty commended the strong and friendly bonds uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Argentina on the basis of strong friendship and mutual esteem. His Majesty also underscored his keenness to work hand-in-hand with the new Argentine President to entrench and promote bilateral cooperation in all fields of mutual interest in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly peoples.</p>
