Chairperson of the Social Sectors Committee Receives Delegation of the Committee on Health at the Czech Chamber of Deputies

<p style="text-align: justify;">Chairperson of the Social Sectors Committee at the House of Representatives, Rep. Hamid Noughou received on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the seat of the House, a delegation of the Committee on Health at the Czech Chamber of Deputies, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The talks of the Chairperson of the Social Sectors Committee with the Czech delegation covered the healthcare systems of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Czech Republic.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">On this occasion, the Chairperson of the Social Sectors Committee noted that the visit of the Czech parliamentary delegation coincides with the significant social protection project launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in his speech before the Parliament in 2020. In this respect, he gave a brief overview of this prominent project.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Rep. Hamid Noughou also highlighted to the Czech delegation the provisions of the Government Framework Bill on social protection adopted by the House of Representatives, the amendments related to the health code, and the Government Framework Bill on the National Healthcare System adopted by the Committee.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">During the same meeting, the Chairperson of the Social Sectors Committee shed light on the health sector reforms in our country, stressing the importance of reinforcing the infrastructure and human resources, given their importance in advancing the healthcare system. Rep. Hamid Noughou also underscored the importance of digitalization in ensuring good governance of the sector, and the imperative of establishing a national health plan to ensure regional justice and guarantee citizens’ access to health services.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For her part, the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Health at the Czech Chamber of Deputies, MP. Zdenka NÉMECKOVÁ CRKVENJAŠ noted, on behalf of the delegation, her willingness to work together on reinforcing cooperation ties and exchange expertise between the two parliamentary committees. She also invited the Chairperson of the Social Sectors Committee to visit the Republic of Czech to advance parliamentary cooperation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The meeting featured the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic Czech to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Ladislav ŠKERIK.</p>
