Communique of the Bodies of the House of Representatives
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium; color: #ff0000;">The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Its Board, the Chairpersons of the Parliamentary Groups and Caucus, and the Chairpersons of the Standing Committees commend the Royal speech and consider it a well-defined road map for the present and the future.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Amidst the celebration of two great days that combine the religious, national, and spiritual dimensions, namely the glorious Throne Day and the holy Eid al-Adha, the bodies of the House, under the chairmanship of Speaker of House of Representatives Habib El Malki, gathered following the Royal speech on the occasion of the 21<sup>st</sup> anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the throne of his glorious ancestors.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">On this occasion, the members of the House expressed their sincere love for His Majesty the King, may God protect him, seizing the celebration of these two significant days to present to His Majesty the noblest expressions of allegiance, imploring the Almighty to grant him perpetual health and safety, and that God may bring to his faithful people the progress and prosperity they aspire.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The bodies of the House reflected on the main messages contained in the Royal speech in their various human, social, economic and institutional dimensions, and the highly significant lessons reflected in these messages; lessons that aim to contain and mitigate the impact of the crisis through a strategic vision and precise plan to achieve strong and harmonious economy and social and territorial justice.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Also, the bodies of the House expressed with high consideration, when reviewing the contents of the historical Royal speech, their being touched by the great human depth that the King of the country carries for his faithful people, and the extreme care he has been giving to the health of citizens, by monitoring and orienting the various organs of the State to limit the pandemic’s repercussions and utilize all the means for the benefit of citizens.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Besides, the House bodies noted with great pride the atmosphere of solidarity and unforgettable moments of cooperation and volunteerism, mentioned by His Majesty may God protect him, which is a source of fervent hope for pursuing the process of edification, for which His Majesty the King, may God protect him, has set a multi-level road map.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">His Majesty’s concerns have gained a great interest among the representatives of the nation; an interest that is reflected by reorganizing priorities, and mobilizing all the available means of our country to establish the elements of a strong and competitive economy and to develop a more inclusive social model within the framework of institutional and financial assistance and governance marked by good management and accountability.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The House’s Speaker and its bodies also noted with pride and consideration the particular attention given to social protection for all Moroccans and His Majesty’s call for an in-depth reform of social systems and programs according to a fixed schedule, a legal framework, and funding options.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The bodies of the House, and after reviewing the contents of the Royal speech, affirmed their engagement, via all the constitutional competences of the House, through effective and consistent control of the Government and of all the institutions concerned with the said projects, and their readiness to prepare the adequate legislation concerning the healthcare system, for which the House of Representatives has formed a thematic working group, in addition to appropriate legislation to support the economic and social development in general.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaker of House of Representatives Habib El Malki and the House’s bodies also stressed their keenness to invest the precious capital that has characterized the initiatives of His Majesty the King, may God protect him, at the African, regional and international levels, through efficient parliamentary diplomacy marked by the spirit of loyalty to Morocco’s friends in different continents, and in the international, regional, and continental parliamentary organizations.</p>
