Seminar on the Evaluation of Laws by the Parliament on March 5-6, 2024

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Moroccan Parliament, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) organize a seminar on "The Evaluation of Laws by the Parliament" on March 5-6, 2024, at the Seat of the Parliament in Rabat.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Seminar aims to strengthen the capacities of parliamentarians and administrative officials at the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors in the area of law evaluation. In this respect, the Seminar will feature the presentation of the international criteria in the field, particularly the ones defined by the Venice Commission in its recommendations. The Seminar will also feature the exchange of experiences and practices with the other parliaments, the examination of the methodologies and ways of evaluating laws, drafting recommendations, and monitoring them, and the display of the importance of examining the impact of laws and ameliorating them.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Seminar will witness the participation of parliamentarians and administrative officials from the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors, experts, academics, and representatives of the Venice Commission, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and the European Union in Morocco.</p>
